Last night we caught Owen watching TV, no kidding, he was mesmerized. We tried to block his vision and he would move his head to try and see around our hands. He is a TV monster and is not allowed to watch TV until he is 2. So be careful to have him facing the opposite direction if you are watching a show while he is in your care.

It seems like the days are going by faster and faster as we near the holidays, which will be so much more special this year! First Halloween, first Thanksgiving, first CHRISTMAS. Oh, the anticipation.
In the mean time. The Walters (Jrs) will be walking for juvenile diabetes this weekend with the Coans on Team Lily at Reliant Park. We are very excited to be participating this year (we were out-of-town last year) in such an important event.
Coming soon: video of Owen ALMOST rolling over!

Well, I can’t say he didn’t cry but he calmed quickly and has been sleeping ever since. James and I both went and it was a good thing because I was a weenie and left the room.
The rest of the check up went well. Owen is now 13.2 lbs, 23 in long with a 16 in head, putting him in the 80th, 55th and 60th percentile, basically, he’s a big boy!
We snapped some photos at the docs with our iphones:

Let’s face it, this our brag book. We should have just named the blog ‘Look at our AWESOME son. Back to earth. This is our way of documenting our changing growing family and sharing it with YOU. We aren’t really the Christmas letter type but we are happy to let you know what is going on in our lives, just log in, at your convenience and you will be able to view pictures and read small (I promise, small) blurbs about what’s going on in our lives. I promise to keep it PG in order to share with all.
